Jason
Balogh Operating Fish the Fly Travel
in Jackson Hole, keeps JB busy but not so busy that he can't guidethe
storied rivers of Wyoming. And when it's too cold to fish there, he's
scouting for bonefish and permit on the flats of the Carribbean in Honduras.
Noting Jason's ease with traveling and fishing both climes can help
make you a better fisherman. |
James
Buice James loves dry fly fishing and
has close to ten years of guiding experience on the Toccoa and Hiwassee
rivers. He's a freelance writer, too, with a new book on fly fishing
in the Southeast coming out this year. The Fish Hawk in Atlanta puts
him to work running its Adventure Travel Department and he sure does
know a lot about where to go and when. |
David
Cannon "Seeing's everything" so keep an
eye out this Spring...Dave's new book, Fly Fishing Georgia: A No Nonsense
Guide to Top Waters, is due to hit the stands! But he's not here to
tell you about that. He's here to help you take better pictures. Photography
is his passion and joy rating right up there with fishing. Combine the
two and you get this seminar. You'll walk out knowing more than when
you walked in. |
Theo
Copeland Theo Copeland is a professional fly fishing
guide specializing in guiding anglers on the streams of northeastern
Tennessee. Many happy customers can attest to his skill in finding trout
and smallmouth bass. He started the first drift boat guide service in
his part of the country and, in doing so, made the area a destination
fly fishing spot. |
Henry
Cowen Catching landlocked stripers is just one of
the
many things Henry does best. He's also an
accomplished fly tyer (Umpqua Feather Merchants and Orvis carry his
creations). If he looks familiar it's because his work is often featured
in fishing magazines along with tying how-to's. |
Kent
Edmonds Georgia has great warm water species from bluegill
to stripers to carp to bass. Match that fact to Kent Edmonds' expertise
in how and where to find these lovelies and you've got the ingredients
for a seminar chock-full of tips and techniques to catch fish all year
long. He's nice enough to share some cool locations too. |
Drew
Gregory Drew (aka BasserDrew) is an expert on bass...shoal,
smallmouth, largemouth...you name it, he's fished for it. He'll take
on any river, any challenge, anywhere as long as it's related to
catching bass. Drew's caught over one hundred citation-size river bass
while logging a multitude of river trips. If you want to catch bass
catch his seminar first. |
Jimmy
Harris In the late 60's Jimmy began fishing the small
streams of north Georgia. He's now in his fourth decade of doing same
and shows no sign of letting up. Lucky man, his avocation is his vocation
and he's a partner in Unicoi Outfitters. He is a guide and an instructor
with a very special appreciation of Georgia's unique resources. |
Kevin
Howell Kevin is the owner and operator of Davidson River
Outfitters. He's a former Fly Fishing Masters National Champion, National
Third Place and three-time Regional Champion. Umpqua Feather Merchants
made him a Signature Fly

guide. Kevin enjoys competitive casting...check
him out at the casting pond. |

mountains of East Tennessee? See Dane. |
Dan
"Rooster" Leavens Dan "Rooster" Leavens
hails from Twin Bridges, Montana, where he is owner, operator and outfitter
of The Stonefly Inn. He's on the water over 300 days a year fishing
the Madison and Jefferson Rivers, among others. You're invited to hear
what you need to know about fishing Big Sky Country. Take advantage
of the opportunity. |
Mack
Martin Mack learned to fly cast at the age of nine
using a custom bamboo fly rod (his uncle gave it to him). The mailman
(a fly casting champion in the 50's) taught him how. He's been casting
ever since and his luck still hasn't run out. A big fan of
fishing Alaska's and Canada's fertile waters,
among others, he's happy to share his experiences fishing in the Arctic. |
